Set off to discover the wonders of Trás-os-Montes

On 14 July 2024 "the world's liveliest granfondo" returns, and with it the opportunity to (re)discover other charms of the north-eastern Trás-os-Montes landscape, the hospitality of its people and the unparalleled gastronomy that makes Trás-os-Montes a unique destination to visit with family or friends.

The next edition of the Bragança Granfondo will take place against the backdrop of the Serra de Nogueira, where the Marian sanctuary of Senhora da Serra stands out - at an altitude of 1320 metres - and around which the Granfondistas will follow a route that also includes the municipalities of Vinhais and Macedo de Cavaleiros. The village of Zoio, in the middle of the Terra Fria Transmontana route; Fermentãos, halfway between Sendas and Salsas, the latter of which is home to an important group of caretos; or the wall of Cidões, whose village celebrates the traditional Festa da Cabra e do Canhoto (Goat and Left-Handed Festival) every year and which receives thousands of visitors to ward off demons, are some of the attractions of the Bragança Granfondo 2024.

Adventure is guaranteed. The entertainment is a certainty and the mushroom and sausage rice we have for lunch will make your mouth water.
