The charms of Peneda-Gerês await you

Portugal's oldest granfondo is returning in 2024 and with it a new opportunity to cycle in the country's only national park, a territory of unrivalled beauty with much to discover. On 2 June, the Reconco Gerês Granfondo will return to the roads between Alto Minho and Trás-os-Montes, this time passing through Terras de Bouro, Amares, Caldelas - one of the most famous and important Portuguese spa resorts - Ponte da Barca, Covide and the charming village of Germil, embedded in the Yellow Mountains.

But these are just some of the fascinating places that we challenge you to discover in this 11th edition of the Reconco Gerês Granfondo, in which the Minifondo is 78 km, the Mediofonfo is 101 km and the Granfondo will take participants 127 km through the far north-west of Portugal.
