Join us as we return to the origins of the Douro Granfondo!

Portugal's biggest and most spectacular granfondo returns on 10 May 2026. Starting in Peso da Régua as usual, the adventure will take participants on a journey through the districts of Vila Real, Bragança and Viseu.

This challenging event combines the stunning landscapes of the Alto Douro Wine Region with the pleasure of cycling through tranquil and harmonious surroundings. Participants must therefore find their own pace for this trip, as the distances and routes are fixed. The granfondo route is 154 km long. The Mediofondo route covers 124 km, while the Minifondo route covers 71 km. Now in its 11(th) edition, this route marks a return to the origins of the Douro Granfondo, given its similarities to the inaugural race in 2015.
